On December 8th, 2017 we had three speakers from the Corvallis-Benton Public Library. Bonnie Brzozowski, reference librarian at the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library, talked about the programs and events offered at the CBCPL. A sample of successful programs and events were highlighted and details about how they were developed including information about the partnerships that made most of them possible were be included. Kristy Kemper Hodge, youth librarian at the Corvallis-Benton County public library, proposed fun and engaging exercises to work on empathy and design thinking. Ashlee Chavez, the Library Director of the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library, talked about the work that the Library staff is doing to evaluate their community’s needs. Ideas for potential new spaces and services were shared.
