In this interview (4 of 4), Niess discusses her formal retirement from OSU in 2003 and the extensive research agenda that she has pursued in the years since. Major topics include her core contributions to the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework; her research on online teaching; her development of an online master's program for K-12 teachers interested in incorporating technology into their curricula; and her use of tabletop games to help K-12 students engage with concepts in computer science. The interview concludes with macro reflections on change in Corvallis and within the university.
