This recording consists of two events held to mark the official opening of the expanded Reser Stadium, following the completion of the Raising Reser project that greatly increased seating capacity and amenities available on the stadium's east side. In the first event, held on the floor of Gill Coliseum, speakers included Athletic Director Bob DeCarolis, Pat Reser and former OSU quarterback Johnathan Smith. At the second event, held at the stadium entrance prior to the afternoon's game versus Portland State, speakers included OSU radio voice Mike Parker, OSU president Ed Ray, vice-president for sports architecture at HNTB Joe Diesko, Bob DeCarolis, former OSU football coach Dennis Erickson, former OSU running back Ken Simonton, and then-current head football coach Mike Riley.
