An interview with Berny Wagner. former Oregon State University track and field coach, on his memories of Dick Fosbury. Wagner served as OSU's cross country and track and field coach from 1965 to 1975, a time period that overlapped with Fosbury's years as a high jumper and student athlete in Corvallis. An Olympic champion and two-time NCAA champion, Fosbury is best known for having introduced a new high jumping technique - the Fosbury Flop - the radically changed the sport.
